Position Description: Responsibilities: The Health Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of local health department’s Lead Poisoning Prevention and Children’s Lead Poisoning Primary Prevention Programs (CLPPPP). Specific duties will include: collaborating with program and IT staff to enhance the day- to-day functionality of Leadweb, the lead module within the NYS Immunization Information System (NYSIIS), and Co-Inspect, CLPPPP’s data collection application; coordination of lead data from Leadweb to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) between NYS Refugee Health, Medicaid, Water and Adult Lead Programs, and for public dissemination of data using the Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT), Health Data NY, and Community Health Indicators Reports (CHIR); coordination of strategic partnerships; coordination of workgroups with internal Programs and outside organizations and agencies to complete work plan activities and evaluation strategies; and assisting with reporting to the CDC. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience including coordination of projects in public health field; OR an Associate's degree and four years of relevant experience; OR six years of relevant experience. A Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with grant applications, budgets, and contracts; experience with financial systems; experience providing technical assistance to contractors and staff; excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Word with advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with data management and analysis.
