Position Description: Responsibilities:

The AIDS Program Manager I will oversee the quality improvement program for the State of Ohio's Department of Health (OSDOH). Specific duties will include: overseeing the development of a quality management plan; leading the analysis of data supplied by the OSDOH; developing recommendations for improvement projects; overseeing the development of trainer manuals, participant manuals, slides and handouts detailing interactive, adult learning programs; leading the evaluation of data collection infrastructure; overseeing the development of guidance for regional goals and HAB priorities; and chairing the National Quality Center's (NQC) Technical Advisory Group subcommittee. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in the direction and/or management of a public health, health/human services, health regulatory program or community-based services organization; OR nine years of such experience. The experience must have included policy formulation; program planning, design, implementation and/or evaluation. At least three years of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management. A Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of quality improvement principles and practices. Experience analyzing data and reporting on performance measures. Knowledge of HIV. At least one year of experience running a national/regional project or projects, and coordinating multiple project activities. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including: Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
