Position Description: Performs multiple coordination and support functions associated with external quality review activities. Position will assist in providing team-directed guidance and support to the contractor regarding various aspects of quality improvement including: development, implementation, measurement, and evaluation.

Performs research and development, coordination, monitoring of various activities, and project management duties related to the external quality review organization (EQRO) contracts.

Qualifications: • Licensed Registered Nurse required; BSN or greater preferred. • Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical/health care setting required. • Experience in managed care, health care quality improvement and project management preferred. • Facilitator experience preferred. • Educational presentation experience preferred. • Knowledge of the healthcare system/environment. • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel). • Familiarity with medical terminology. • CQI Training. • Willingness to travel approximately 35 percent. • Knowledge and understanding of NCQA standards and HEDIS.

Qsource' EQRO Division serves as the independent external quality review organization (EQRO) in Tennessee for TennCare, the Medicaid program, and CoverKids, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). We evaluate the quality, timeliness and accessibility of services provided to the adults and children receiving managed care through Medicaid and CHIP health plans, and dual-eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs).
