The Graduate Program in Public Health seeks a Program Coordinator to assist with the admissions and recruitment process for the public health degree program at ISMMS, which includes MPH, MD/MPH, and certificate students. Bachelor’s degree. Master's in public health, higher education, or related field preferred. Proactive; Good interpersonal skills; Excellent organizational skills; Able to manage many tasks/priorities simultaneously; Strong computer skills; Minimum of 3 years' work experience that would demonstrate proficiencies in several requirements.
Under the direction of the Program Director and Assistant Program Director, the Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the professional day-to day operations of the admissions process.
Provide administrative and logistical support for the application management systems.
Process and track applications on rolling basis and distribute to Admissions committee for review.
Counsel prospective students on the admissions process.
Collect and analyze admissions data and prepare detailed reports on statistics, trends and recommendations.
Organize and conduct admissions-related school tours and visits.
Coordinate admissions events and provide support as needed for information session, prospective student recruiting events, and other visiting days.
Represent Program at on-campus and off- campus recruiting events and other admissions-related meetings; Some travel and flexible scheduling would be required particularly during recruitment season in the fall.
Assist with development and distribution of marketing publications for purposes of recruitment.
Collaborate internally with central Admissions Office, the Office of Enrollment Services, and other departments, faculty and administrative staff on various aspects of the admissions process.
Serve as primary contact for admission- related questions.
Other tasks as assigned by the Program Director and Assistant Program Director.
