Position Description: Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that required and necessary data are collected and reported appropriately and accurately by funded contractors within the Harm Reduction Unit, by Expanded Syringe Access Program providers and by approved Opioid Overdose Prevention Programs prioritizing data collection for the Drug User Health Hubs. This position will provide orientation and on-going technical assistance/education regarding data collection and reporting to new organizations within ODUH's umbrella. Responsibilities will also include ensuring that data collection and reporting by agencies are on-going and timely. Reports will be analyzed for consistency, validity and be used to help agencies inform their service delivery. Trouble shooting and technical assistance to identify and resolve problems are primary foci of this position. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating and working with the Director and Contract Managers within the Harm Reduction Unit (HRU), the ESAP Coordinator and the Opioid Overdose Prevention Program Manager on data related issues, questions, problems, inquiries and requests for information. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for periodically analyzing and recommending changes to data collection and reporting as needs or trends evolve. The incumbent will also be responsible for data analysis, development of written reports and management of special projects as needed. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience including the management, coordination, or implementation of program activities in a public health or health related field; OR seven years of such experience. At least one year of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management. A Master’s degree may substitute for one year of general experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least four years' experience in data collection, reporting and analysis in community based settings; Five years’ experience in training, trouble shooting and provision of technical assistance. Must have excellent written, verbal and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to exhibit independent judgment in the development, implementation and evaluation of planned services. Experience working with community based organizations and fostering collaborative working relationships with various not-for- profit and/or health related entities.
