The National Center for Health Research is a small nonprofit located just a few blocks from the White House but miles away in terms of health policy goals. We need a smart, dedicated, multi-tasking professional who wants to make a difference on a national and personal level. In addition to helping with articles and social media, the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills.
The position involves traditional nonprofit office work, as well as working with other staff to help hundreds of women who have serious health problems and are having trouble getting their health insurance companies to agree to cover medically necessary surgery.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be very detail-oriented, have a good sense of humor, and the desire to do good.
This position is full-time, and requires a college degree and office experience. Starting salary in high $20’s with excellent benefits and opportunity for advancement.
