Position Description: Job Title: Program Improvement and Data Quality Specialist Department: Healthy Start Location: Gainesville, FL Posting Closes: July 26, 2017 Submit Resume: hr@wellflorida.org Summary This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with program goals and contract requirements. The primary duties of this position are to collect and analyze data; evaluate services; and to provide technical assistance and training to improve quality of services. This position reports directly to the Healthy Start Program Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ? Analyze, update, and modify procedures and processes to continually improve quality of services provided ? Assist in reviewing and updating the Coalition’s Quality Assurance Plans ? Monitor and analyze outcomes to ensure goals, objectives, and outcome requirements are met ? Assist in developing tools for quality assurance and improvement reviews ? Coordinate and conduct quality assurance review activities, including chart reviews of subcontracted service providers and site visits ? Collect and review providers’ monthly and quarterly reports ensure all required documents are included and completed correctly ? Investigate and incorporate best practice interventions ? Manage and train contracted services providers on use of the Healthy Start data management system ? Provide technical assistance and trainings to service providers ? Access the Healthy Start data management system to compile and analyze data for quality assurance and outcome reporting ? Collect and summarize performance data and identify opportunities for improvement ? Participate on various committees and work groups to improve data and quality of Healthy Start services Education and/or Experience Master's degree in public health or similar field; or bachelor’s degree in related field and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
