Position Description: CCI is seeking a Public Health Analyst/ Data Expert to provide Health Tracking support to the Division of Environmental Hazards and Health Effects (EHHE) in the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Qualifications: Primary Responsibilities: • Develop and/or summarize studies, analyses and generate reports related to public health and environmental surveillance programs for the CDC Tracking Program and attendance teams.

• Manage development and documentation of protocols for use of data on the CDC Tracking Network.


• Master degree in public health, social science, health services research plus 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in the field of public health working with large health surveillance datasets and environmental monitoring/ sampling/ satellite data.

• Programming skills in SAS and R including creating data products using Shiny, R packages, and interactive graphics.

• Experience in statistical analysis with missing and mis-measured data or sampling results below the limit of detection

• Small area analysis including Bayesian and Empirical Bayes methods skills

• Knowledge of modern regression and modeling techniques

• Spatial and temporal analysis
