Position Description: This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating quality improvement and quality assurance activities of Vital Statistics within the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH).

Qualifications: Requirements at this level consist of a master’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in technical, statistical and/or research work related to Vital Records or other registry system. Must be experienced with SAS statistical software and/or writing SQL queries.

Organization Description: The Oklahoma State Department of Health, through its system of local health services delivery, is ultimately responsible for protecting and improving the public's health status through strategies that focus on preventing disease. Three major service branches, Community & Family Health Services, Office of the State Epidemiologist and Protective Health Services, provide technical support and guidance to 68 county health departments as well as guidance and consultation to the two independent city- county health departments in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
