Position Description: The Training and Technical Assistance Research Project Manager provides project planning and monitoring which could include deliverables such as project plans, planning documentation and project reports.

Position Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

•Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. •Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, and requirements, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. •Successfully manage relationships with the clients and stakeholders. •Develop project plans that consider all necessary activities including but not limited to those related to information system, communication with internal and external stakeholders, documentation, training and contingency. •Ensure delivery of project milestones. •Conduct activities ensuring best practices as they related to current public health training and education theories. •Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in public health related discipline (Public Health or Psychology, Sociology, Epidemiology, Statistics, Health Behavior, etc.), preferably a Master’s degree in a Public Health related discipline. •PMP certification preferred. •5-10 years of experience in public health management working in a matrixed environment. •2 years of experience working on training and technical assistance project. •Demonstrated experience in managing large programs/projects and corresponding budgets/funding •Experience in managing projects that involve a multi-disciplinary team.


•Self-motivated, detail-oriented and goal- oriented. •Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
