Position Description: Position Overview:

The Learning Management Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing technical and functional support of the day-to-day and on-going operations, maintenance and administration of the project’s learning management system (LMS), and learning technologies that may include eLearning in virtual classrooms, webinars, etc.

Position Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

•Work with eLearning team as needed to develop, implement and monitor learning activities. •Responsible for implementing, configuring, tracking and delivering instruction led participant centered learning programs as part of a learning management team. •Research and resolve LMS functionality issues. •Collaborate with peers externally to determine and facilitate best practices. •Maintain and operate various technologies used in the delivery of instructional and/or interactive programs and courses. •Maintain updated curriculum database and training records. •Ensure that all learner data and information in the LMS meets regulatory requirements, good documentation practice and is stored in a manner that be retrieved quickly and efficiently when needed during daily operations.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field such as Education, Instructional Technology or similar field. •2+ years of recent experience working as an LMS administrator •1+ year experience with virtual course delivery •1+ year experience in writing and/or editing technical documentation •Previous knowledge and experience working in telecommunications, consulting or leading IT contracted development for IT implementation projects. •Project management experience •Advanced skills in MS office products particularly Microsoft Project •Knowledge of SCORM

Competencies:

•Basic knowledge and understanding of instructional design principles, practices and theories. •Self-motivated and goal-oriented. •Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts in non- technical terms. •Proficiency in managing data and reporting capabilities required. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite •Knowledge of web accessibility issues •Experience with: xAPI, X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript (DHTML), Java, XML, Structured Query Language (SQL) or equivalent.
