Position Description: About the Community Study It has been 10 years since the last Community Study was conducted in Jewish community of greater Atlanta. This most recent study combines a needs assessment and market research to help us better understand today’s Jewish community. Findings from the Community Study will help us identify our community needs and encourage community conversations over the next year, which will lead us to innovative solutions resulting in a stronger Jewish community.

The Community Study Project Intern will assist the Community Planning and Impact team by interpreting data findings and providing customized data analysis to community partners. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the list below. This is a temporary hourly position.

Current and graduating graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: • Provide support with Community Study project management • Help interpret study findings and translate them into meaningful information for the community • Analyze data provided by consultants to understand sub-categories and implications for specific partners and providers • Draft and/or edit community communications regarding data findings

Qualifications: Desired Skills: • Affinity for data-driven decision-making and outcomes measurement • Expertise in Excel, specifically pivot tables, and SPSS • Curiosity and interest in community- based organizations • Facility with moderately complex statistical analysis • Data visualization strategies and techniques
