Position Description: Health Leads is seeking a passionate, relationship-driven, entrepreneurial Field Director to join its growing Campaign & Sector Leadership team. The director will thrive in a mission-driven, fast-paced work environment and will play a critical role in building and driving a national campaign to inspire healthcare organizations to address social needs. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in issue or electoral campaigns and will have some fluency in healthcare. We’re looking for a director experienced: 1) in mobilization strategies to build and scale a campaign; 2) at cultivating and managing relationships at all levels; 3) and at building and managing a team. This position reports to the Director of Campaign and Sector Leadership and is based in Boston, MA.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years’ experience in the non-profit sector, ideally in issue- or electoral-campaigns Strong strategic thinking and campaign planning skills. Experience in building, executing, and adjusting strategy in a fast-paced, mission- driven environment Some fluency in healthcare preferred Proven ability to develop and deploy diverse tactics that move people to action. Strong writing skills for a mainstream audience Experience developing metrics to measure the success of a campaign Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to manage and build trust with diverse stakeholders Track record of demonstrating sound judgment by making appropriate decisions, knowing when to take initiative to anticipate problems and innovate creative solutions, managing complex situations with discretion and tact Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a skillful and timely fashion Strong project-management skills, including being detail-oriented and managing toward aggressive timelines Flexibility and a sense of humor Passion for Health Leads’ mission and a strong commitment to Health Leads’ core values: belief in collective strength and the power of shared work, constant and courageous learning, celebrating our victories and each other, and stepping up as leaders in a common vision Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; experience creating well- formatted, professional documents in Word and PowerPoint Strong commitment to learning and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
