Position Description: Oversee, coordinate, and optimize the functioning of the HIV FOCUS (routine HIV Screening) program at the Grady Heath System. The role will involve communicating regularly with program directors, funders, other program staff, other clinicians and hospital employees, and patients. Organization, teamwork, data tracking and analysis (proficiency in SAS and MS Excel), and communication skills are keys to success in this position.Experience in HIV-related work, familiarity with healthcare data, having worked in healthcare settings and/or EPIC electronic medical records is a plus. Oversee and coordinate daily activities for the FOCUS program, including development and implementation of effective interventions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of data to study sponsor, and regular review of data collection for completeness and accuracy.• Maintain program databases (SAS, MS Excel and RedCap) and complete data management and analyses required to for summary and detail program reports.• Interfaces with program sponsors, clinical leadership and staff about any problems/challenges. Completes required monthly reporting before due date, resolves study queries.• Provides leadership in determining, recommending, and implementing improvements to policies/program processes.• Represents the program at HIV- related community meetings , various speaking engagements as requested and collaborates with program director to develop and submit conference abstracts, manuscripts, presentations and grant proposals.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Sociology, Psychology or related discipline AND two years of professional level research experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Excellent oral and written communication skills.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a field related to specified program areas and five years related program management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
