Position Description: Job Responsibilities

The following will be conducted in collaboration with and/or under the direction of the CEO, who will be the supervisor of record. • Participate in developing, planning, establishing, implementing and evaluating short and long term goals and operating procedures. • Provide oversight for critical aspects of a project(s) and workgroup activity o Create and lead high functioning project teams o Develop and manage work plan and timelines for project tasks o Facilitate workgroup activities o Reviews, revises and provides comments to workgroup products o Oversee project budgets o Produce formative and summative project reports, and o Reviews, revises and provides comments to project briefs and publications. • Provide regular updates and reports on project to the CEO. • Develop potential funding sources and take a leadership role in writing proposals using the support of funding as needed. • Oversight of membership communications and services, new membership and renewals, project management, publication orders, and annual conference planning. • Provides budget management and general financial management for organizational operations, such as fiscal monitoring and monthly billing, invoices and receipts. • Lead and coordinate program development and logistical planning for annual conference, policy meeting and other such meetings. • Coordinate web development and postings • Develop and sustain key internal and external relationships and partnerships. • Represent the NONPF to a variety of internal and external audiences. • Provide oversight and direction on other projects as determined by CEO.

Qualifications: Preferred Job Qualifications • Master’s degree in organizational development, non-profit management, human service, or related field • Minimum of 2 years experience in non- profit, government, or community-based human service management and operations • Thorough understanding of the principles of and experience in membership organizations • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint and Power Point, and Quick Book

Personal Capabilities • Collaborator who can work effectively with volunteers, staff and external contacts to build and maintain successful teams, community partners and coalitions • Can prioritize and manage multiple priorities with a high volume of details • Ability to write proposals, grants, briefs and publications • Excellent communication skills--in person, in writing and electronically to a variety of audiences • Critical and creative thinker • Self-starter with creative and effective problem solving skills • Effective public speaker to a variety of audiences and in professional venues • Travel as needed to perform job duties • Ability to effectively facilitate groups and coordinate group activities • High level of integrity, diplomacy and initiative

Organization Description: The National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, a non-profit, located in downtown Washington DC is seeking a full-time program manager responsible for the implementation, management, execution and evaluation of projects and management of organization functions conducted under the auspices of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties http://www.nonpf.org/.
