Position Description: •This position serves as the Bureau Chief of Disease Control and Prevention. •Oversees the Division Managers for Epidemiology, Health Informatics, North Texas Regional Laboratory, and Immunization Registry program. •Provides support to the Director in leadership and management of all disease control and prevention areas that is in alignment with the Director's vision and organizational values. •Ensures compliance with grant guidelines and standards of practice. •Keeps Director abreast of changes in surveillance and prevention activities and fund availability.

Qualifications: TO APPLY, must have a Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Nursing, Community Health or related field. An advanced graduate degree in Epidemiology, Microbiology or Biological Sciences is strongly preferred.

TO APPLY, must have Seven (7) full-time years of work experience in public health or a related field including Four (4) years in management.
