Position Description: This position is responsible for managing the Wyoming Injury Prevention Program (WIPP) within the Public Health Division of the Wyoming Department of Health. This program focuses on reducing unintentional and intentional injuries, including suicide in Wyoming. In addition, this position is responsible for overseeing death review teams that could include public health child deaths, suicide deaths and fetal infant deaths. The WIPP Manager assumes full responsibility, accountability, policy making input, personnel management, budgetary setting oversight, and coordination of injury prevention activities. This program is a key contributor to the division's mission of promoting, protecting, and improving health and preventing disease and injury in Wyoming.
