Position Description: Performs or coordinates administrative activities associated with complex residency programs. These programs generally involve over 20 residents, last more than three years, and involve at least five training sites. Plays a significant role in preparing the program for accreditation site visits and compliance with all accreditation standards. Plans resident orientation and manages the rotation scheduling and evaluation systems within the program. Maintains residents' academic files including rotations, evaluations, curriculum, and other critical documentation. Assists in residency recruitment and selection by updating relevant online materials and contacting communicating with potential applicants.

Responsible for scheduling and coordinating applicant interviews. Assists in processing and resolving foreign nationals' visa issues. Maintains required record-keeping and online databases pertaining to the residency program. Assists in preparing budgets and in tracking expenses. Coordinates with Program Director and exercises initiative on essential needs for the program, including identifying rotations and other learning experiences, developing and finalizing agreements with training sites, and on planning, facilitating, and maintaining records from meetings required for the program. Coordinates with Graduate Medical Education office on essential matters, including providing documentation and other records and materials as may be required. Performs related responsibilities as required to support the educational, research and service activities conducted within the Department

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

Organization Description: The Department of Family and Preventive Medicine operate residencies in both specialties. The incumbent in this position will administrate and coordinate the Preventive Medicine residency.
