Position Description: This position works with minimal supervision to oversee all aspects of the EPIC (Educating Physicians and Practices in their Communities) Immunization program including staff. This includes but is not limited to the updating of curriculum, resource manuals and materials. Director must be able be competent in training physicians, nurses and office managers to be EPIC presenters and make random quality control visits to programs. The EPIC Director is the primary resource for the EPIC Advisory Committee and must keep them informed and on task for meetings, curriculum review, etc. Additionally, the EPIC Director must be a liaison to external partners such as the State Immunization Program, the Georgia Family Physicians, Georgia Medical Care Foundation, and Centers for Disease Control and other groups as identified. Required to attend staff meetings, board meetings, ACIP and other meetings as directed by the Executive Director. Participates as a team player in the preparation for annual chapter meetings (Spring & Fall). Travel involved delivering, picking up or maintaining program materials and/or equipment. Additional travel (occasionally overnight) required when exhibiting and/or attending conferences related to the EPIC program and the Georgia Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics meetings.

Qualifications: ? Education: Preferred-Registered Nurse with Current License in Georgia ? Bachelor's Degree (BSN) and/or Immunization experience a plus ? Experience: Minimum 3 years full time employment ? Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency and Excel skills ? Preferred Skills: Educational Presentations and Curriculum development, Excellent Customer Service Skills, Clinical experience in office or hospital ? Familiar with Go-to-Meetings and hosting webinars a plus

Organization Description: Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): 1. Curriculum update and communication to advisory committee for approval and trainers for implementation. At a minimum this task must be completed annually (usually 2-3 times per year). 2. Attendance at all ACIP, Immunize Georgia, National Immunization Program and other external meetings as participant or exhibitor 3. Review and evaluate program data: surveys, evaluations, etc., as a quality improvement project and prepare such information for presentation and/or publication at State and National Level meetings. 4.Maintain relationship with external partners 5.Market EPIC program to all physician offices and facilities throughout Georgia 6. Review “resource box” for accurate information and update as needed 7. Work with Immunization Coordinator to provide Georgia specific information in all programming 8. Maintain budget and expenditures
