Position Description: We are seeking a dynamic person to work in the Department of Medical Education and Preventive Medicine Residency Program at Griffin Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. As an epidemiologist, you will work closely with the Director of Residency Program, core faculty, and residents. The position will involve: • Managing ongoing research studies, enroll subjects, conduct surveys, compile and enter data. • Data collection, data analyses using SAS, and reporting. • Assisting with IRB application for research studies conducted by medical faculty and residents • Coordinate/assist with grant writing and submission. • Providing assistance with manuscript submission for publication. • Managing budget and processing invoices. • Completing grant-related progress and performance reports. • Data entry and data analyses • Project management • Experience in MS Office, database management, budgeting and the ability to manage multiple projects is desired. • Familiarity with online evaluation tools, web-based surveys, and web-based teaching materials and interactive modules will be preferred. • Coordinating resident lectures and rotations. • Monitoring trainee progress in completing educational activities. Substantial intellectual growth and research publication potential exist in this position.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MPH degree with the concentration in biostatistics. Those with MD or Ph.D. degree with requisite experience can be considered. Advanced data analysis skills using SAS is required. Background in clinical research and project management is a plus.
